Thank you to all members and friends who joined us for our most recent concerts.
Despite the heat, we enjoyed a wonderful evening of song last night, performed with great skill and joy by Alison Pearce and Stewart Taylor at the lovely venue of Christ Church in Chichester. Alison's beautiful voice filled the church and she regaled stories of her Italian adventures.
July 4th saw us return to Chichester Baptist Church for a celebration of American music in aid of the charity 'Feeding Futures'. Our members were on top form, serenading us with beautiful vocal and instrumental performances. I'm pleased to announce that the concert raised just over £1000, which has been fund-matched by a generous donor to make £2000 to aid the charity's work in Africa. My heartfelt thanks to all those who took part and to those who came to support.
Our final concert of the season is a Summer Celebration Member's Evening on July 25th. If you would like to perform in this season finale, please send the details of your contribution to our secretary, Louise, as usual.
We look forward to seeing you all either on stage or in the audience to help bring down the curtain on our 2025/26 season. Do look out for details of our 2026/27 50th anniversary season over the coming weeks.
Sending our very best wishes for the summer break.

"Dear Friends,
Thank you for inviting me to give the vocal recital at Christ Church on Saturday for the Festival of Chichester. I think it must have been one of the hottest days of the year and I was delighted there was such a good audience ready to brave the heat.
Everyone was so welcoming and I enjoyed myself tremendously sharing my repertoire with BRMC members together with my friends and colleagues. I have received many lovely comments regarding what a happy occasion it was.
As you mentioned there are many singing members of BRMC I thought it worth mentioning that I should be very happy to give a vocal masterclass/workshop in the future if it would be of interest.
Meanwhile my warmest good wishes and thank you for the lovely flowers and card that is much appreciated.
Alison Pearce"
