AGM Notice 10th October

Welcome to our 50th anniversary year and another wonderful season of music making. There are some great musical treats over the coming months, so please check out our full brochure on the website.
I hope you've had a wonderful summer break and as autumn creeps in, we are busy preparing for our AGM on October 10th.
We cordially invite you to join us for this where we will layout our plans for our 50th anniversary year, as well as being treated to a super second-half concert from mezzo-soprano, Akiko Ross and pianist Jack Adams.
Our 50th anniversary celebration in July accompanied by 'puds and fizz' will honour the club's wonderful work over five decades. Geoff Porter will present a history of the club and the first half will feature instrumental performances from members, past and present. The second half will feature a vocal ensemble that will present a selection of Gilbert and Sullivan classics, including solos, duets and small group numbers.
If you would like to be involved instrumentally or vocally in this amazing event, please contact us. We would love to hear from you. More details about this exciting finale to our season will follow.
Hard on the heels of the AGM, we are excited to welcome two members of the brilliantly talented Luc family, Yuriko and Kenji, for a wonderful evening of cello and piano music. Please see the attached poster for details and put the date in your diaries. Why not invite a friend to along to enjoy these great performers?
Due to rising costs, we are charging a minimum of £2 for refreshments.
We really value your support and commitment to the club. We would dearly love to see more of you at our concerts, especially in this special anniversary year, and for our membership and audience numbers to grow, so we can secure the future of the club as we enter a new decade. Thank you.
With our very best wishes
Ian
Chairman
