PPG Concert and Members Evening

Firstly, congratulations and thanks to Kenji and Yuriko Luc for a wonderful concert last weekend, which was much appreciated by the audience members who had braved the stormy weather.

Our next concert is fast approaching. Our lovely friends, the Pallant Piano Group join us on November 14th (7.30 pm), to present a varied programme of piano favourites. It is always an exciting and entertaining evening so we do hope you can join us.

To close out the calendar year, we are hosting a Members' Evening on November 28th (7.30 pm). Unfortunately, we weren't able to secure a December date with the RSM. This is a chance for members to showcase their talents and present music with a seasonal wintry feel. If you would like to take part, please contact me via the club email address or our website by November 20th with your suggested pieces. I will then put together the programme. Thank you.

At our last concert, we set up our refreshments in the Recital Hall, which worked really well, and created an engaging atmosphere. We will continue to do this and take donations to support the club.

Finally, I would like to remind anyone who hasn't renewed their membership, that subscriptions are now due for the 2026/27 season. These vital contributions help keep the operational aspects of the club running, including insurance, web-hosting costs and performing rights fees. Subscriptions can be renewed via the website, directly through the bank or by cheque or cash.

Our 50th anniversary season is off to a great start, and we're looking forward to more exciting music-making over the coming months.

Sending our very best wishes,

Ian (Chair)
