I do hope this email finds you well as summer has certainly arrived with a bang.

We have two wonderful concerts at the beginning of July to excite your musical senses.

Following the brilliant 'Evening of Song', which thrilled the audience with a delightful mix of styles, we invite you to join us for our fabulous Celebrity Concert with renowned international opera singer, Alison Pearce, who has performed all around the world with major orchestras, conductors and opera houses. Her 'Songs of Summer' concert on July 11th at Christ Church in Chichester, is our showcase concert of the year and is part of the Festival of Chichester. Her full programme is attached below. Alison is accompanied by Stewart Taylor. Advanced booking would really help us with refreshments. We would really value your support for this concert as we need to try and cover our expenses to continue to provide a varied programme of events for our members and guests, especially as we are celebrating our 50th anniversary next year. This is the perfect opportunity to invite friends and neighbours to a concert.

Also, on July 4th, we host our annual 'Music for Others' concert at Chichester Baptist Church. This year's concert is raising funds for the charity, 'Feeding Futures', founded by a church member. It provides school meals and sustainable farming training for African communities. For more information, visit their website https://www.feedingfutures.org/

The programme celebrates American music on the 250th anniversary of the nation's independence, and includes music by Gershwin, Sousa, Sondheim, Copeland, Rodgers and Hammerstein and others. Entry is free and all donations will be matched by a generous benefactor.

Please join us for these two concerts to support our music-making both now and in the coming year.

All our best wishes

Ian
