Selsey Consort Event Info and New Pictures

We are hoping you will be able to join us to hear this talented local octet, the newly formed "Selsey Consort", sing a selection of music through the ages; the programme will also include piano duets and solos from members of the group.

This concert has unfortunately had to be cancelled from our October slot which will instead be replaced with a members' evening, and postponed to a later date in the programme to be announced.

Of special interest will be an item "Everything that hath Breath (Psalm 150)" by the late Rex Latter, a former club member, in addition to works by César Franck and William Byrd, including "An Irish Melody" and a selection from "Encores for Choirs".

Our recently held AGM rounded off with a members' evening that included piano and vocal works by Debussy and Schubert plus songs from Paul McCartney's Liverpool Oratorio.
