With period instruments and music of Tudor times, Courtlye Musick tells the story of Henry VIII’s ‘noblest shipp of sayle’, the Mary Rose. The ill-fated ship and Henry’s reign are forever linked and this concert mixes historical facts with 16th century instrumental music, dance and song from the courts of England and Europe.
